1. Problem: Manufacturing is a revitalized
and growing industry in the United States.
While this industry continues to grow, there is a lack of workers to
fill the new jobs.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop a
product that can teach basic mechanics and create a fun way to interact and
create things in order to help fill manufacturing jobs in the future.
Pomeroy Recreation and Rehabilitation Center
2. Problem: The Pomeroy Recreation and
Rehabilitation Center’s pirate ship playground area is not safe or
aesthetically pleasing.
Purpose: To make a safer and more
aesthetically pleasing pirate ship playground area where children can safely
play.
Mid-Peninsula Boys & Girls Club
3. Problem: The Mid-Peninsula Boys &
Girls Deluxe Clubhouse needs storage for musical instruments that can be
disassembled easily and stored flat.
Purpose: To provide a storage system that is fitting to the
Mid-Peninsula Boys & Girls Deluxe Clubhouse’s needs.
